Aaaiiieee, my head.
Today was a fun, if long, day. Woke up before 8:00 (who does that on a Saturday?) to hit up the farmer's market. Breanna came along, and let me tell you-- it was good to be back. I didn't realize how much I missed that place. I got so many super-fresh veggies for so cheap and I can't wait to eat them. After we left the farmer's market we swung by Whole Foods to get grapes and Fuji organic apples. I know that sounds weird, but when I was on Project there was this girl Zoila at my work who only ate organic fruits and vegetables. One day she brought in an apple to work and I could smell it from five feet away. It made me so hungry it was ridiculous. So ever since then I said I was going to try a Fuji organic apple. I ate one today. No lie-- it's the best apple I've ever tasted. It's worth the price, believe me.
Around noon I headed to UCF with Heather to meet up with some Cru people at AV to help move in the freshman. I got to meet some new people and see some fellow UCFers from Project that I haven't seen since the beginning of August. So hot, though.
My parents came to O-town around 1:30 and we spent the rest of the day getting stuff done in my apartment. They took me out to dinner, exchanged my old crappy cell phone for a new one, and bought me an ethernet cable and so now I'm pretty set. I am actually laying on my bed typing this. It's a sweet deal. Especially since I don't think I can move my head off the pillow.
Tomorrow it's back to Summit (in a new dress, yay!) and then there's a Cru planning meeting in the afternoon. I should probably get my oil changed and my car washed, too... and getting books for class would be good, sometime... but right now there's not enough money in the bank.
There's so much stuff to do, so many things to juggle-- it's been more than a little overwhelming. Thank God for good friends who know how to pray. I can't believe that class starts on Monday... only one more day of freedom.
I've got to go to sleep or else I think my head is going to explode.
Till next time...
